Project Description

This is a personal project for a fictitious event whose subject matter I feel passionate about, homelessness. We as Vancouverite's shouldn't be turning a blind eye to the cities less fortunate citizens. So many people are affected by not having access to affordable, safe housing it is very sad to see in such an affluent area.

I've designed the poster and rack card in Illustrator CS4. The website mockup I have designed for this project has a grunge treatment whereas these two deliverables have a cleaner look and feel. The color pallete and textures I chose portray the hard and gritty aspect of life on the streets. Juxtaposing Helvetica and Garamond fonts worked well I think. I hope you agree.
